Pregnancy Reports from Dr. Berger's Patients April 2005

Pregnancy reports are received daily from Dr. Berger's tubal reversal patients via the Pregnancy Report Form. The reports and comments here provide supplemental information to the summaries shown in the Weekly TR Pregnancy Report Forum of the Tubal Reversal Message Board.

Only those summaries are published that were given permission by the individual reporting. It should be: Only those pregnancy reports are shown for which permission was given and comments were included.

Dear Dr. Berger and staff, We are so very excited to let you know that last week we found out we will be expecting our first baby. The due date is December 24, 2005. My surgery was in February 2004. When I had my surgery, my husband was in Korea on a Army deployment. He came back home in November 2004. So I guess you could say it took 4 months once we started trying. Both of us along with our combined family of five children (ranging in ages 6-18 years old) are extremely excited. I have been to my primary care doctor who will refer me to a OBGYN doctor. I am looking forward to having my first ultrasound to make sure everything is going well. We will never be able to thank you enough for giving us this opportunity to build to our family. We will keep in touch. My experience with your office before, during, and after the tubal reversal has been excellent quality. Again thank you very much. We are so excited. We had all but given up. Following the surgery, we just couldn't seem to get pregnant. We saw fertility doctors in Houston and San Antonio. No one could figure out what was wrong and following the trials with medication, the doctors recommended AI. Because of our religious beliefs, Clay and I were restricted from exploring that option. We decided that our rationale for becoming parents was not that we wanted anything but just had so much we wanted to give. Consequently, we became foster parents and last year we adopted a little special needs little boy...who, by the way, is the light of all our lives. Recently, we also obtained his two younger sisters. And now...I am pregnant too. I still cannot believe it. Clay and I feel so blessed. Regarding the pregancy, we have had one sonogram and the baby is doing great. Dr. Berger...thank you doesn't seem adequate. You have blessed our life and we will forever be grateful.
