Remarks: Dear Kathy, How are you? I hope all is well for you all and Dr. Berger. I received several calls regarding Dr. Berger's request for a status update and I do apologize for the delay in responding. Please note that I had fibroid removal surgery done on October 10, 2004 by Dr. Bernard Cantor. My next period was on Nov 23rd, 2004 (Clomid, HCG and IUI). Pregnancy was confirmed on December 23, 2004. I had a missed abortion confirmed at my OB GYN checkup at 9 weeks and a D and C was performed on January 28th, 2005. Dr. G. asked me to wait 2 months before trying again, which we did not, yet my periods were very irregular (extremely light, mostly spotting and very short 3-4 days)up until June, 2005. Since then my periods are pretty normal, 4-5 days, light flow with one or two days of heavier flow (which is nothing compared to my periods prior to fibroid removal). The only thing that worries me, Kathy, is that since the miscarriage I have not had breast discomfort ever again - not even a little bit. My PMS symptoms are very mild compared to what I went through prior to the fibroid surgery. Is this normal? Does it mean I don't produce enough progesterone? Dr. Cantor retired and I am trying to decide who to start seeing now. Who would Dr. Berger recommend I see?? I have been going w/o Clomid since my miscarriage and I think that perhaps I need to go back to Clomid and IUI's again. I would greatly appreciate your advice and that of Dr. Berger. I hope everyone has a wonderful, long and safe weekend. I will be looking out for your response. Take care all, Yvette D.

Remarks: I am filling this form out so you all have information to keep your statistics up to date. I should have been about 6 weeks pregnant. I went for a pelvic ultrasound on Monday because I started bleeding a little. They were not able to see anything in the uterus. They did a blood test and came back with a level of 45. I continued to bleed and have mild cramps and yesterday I went for a second blood test. The nurse called today and said my level had dropped to 17. They told me I had miscarried. I was concerned about it being in my tubes but they said as long as the HCG level was dropping like it was, there was no pregnancy in the tubes. We have a beautiful 6 month old "BERGER BABY" (Eli) and we are letting God control whether or not he wants us to have one more. It isn't our time. It is good to know that I can reach you all if I have any questions or concerns. Thank you for all you do. Kelly
